Discovery Programme marquee at the Dublin Garden Squares Day 2011On Saturday 27th August the Discovery Programme took part in the annual Dublin Garden Squares Day event in Merrion Square Park. Aspects of some of the scientific techniques behind archaeological research were on display. These included  environmental archaeology, surveying with laser scanners and the recent work on the aerial photography collection of Leo Swan. Thank you to the members of the public who braved the unseasonal wet weather to enjoy the event.
