RTÉ - Secrets of the Stones

The first of two one hour TV specials examining Ireland's iconic monuments was shown on 13th April. As part of the episode Joe Fenwick (NUI Galway) highlighted some of the important work carried out by the Discovery programme at the Hill of Tara, County Meath. Content included exploration of the large ring ditch enclosure dicovered using geophysical techniques and the recent LiDAR survey of the Hill and the surrounding environs.
