Evie joined the Discovery Programme as an intern on the Leo Swan Aerial Photographic Project in March 2015. She initially worked on the digitisation of the aerial photographs as well as site identification and metadata development. In October 2015 she was employed by the Discovery Programme to work on digital content provision for the LoCloud project. This involves working with the image collections of the Discovery Programme, the Leo Swan Archive [NMI] and other partners to make digital content and metadata accessible online. She is also involved in the ARIADNE project which aims to promote the integration of archaeological research data and collaboration between existing infrastructures.
Evie graduated from Maynooth University in 2014 with a PHD in history, her research interests encompass religious and cultural practices in early modern Ireland. She has previously worked as a research student at the National Library of Ireland, a university tutor and as a tour guide at the Clonmacnoise Heritage Site.
