Total Station Equipment
The Discovery Programme has two Nikon NPL-332 total stations. These are 5” angular, +/-(3+2ppm) distance measurement accuracy instruments and have the option of reflectorless mode. They have onboard data logging, and a number of pre-set survey programmes including resection station set-up and remote elevation measurement. They are particularly weather proof, IPX6 rated, and have excellent battery life, 16 hours).
The data is stored in the on board memory (capacity for up to 10,000 records) and downloaded by cable into KOREC Geosite 4.10 Communicator software. This allows points to be viewed and edited as a map or coordinate list and exported to third party software for further manipulation and processing.
